Friends@Home volunteer program

Show up. Be a friend. Change a week.

You and another teen volunteer spend 30–45 minutes each week hanging out with a child or young adult with special needs. Bring your energy, follow their interests, and build a real friendship.

Our main program

Friends@Home

Our main program pairs teen volunteers with kids or young adults with special needs who could use an awesome friend. Visit your buddy’s home 30–45 minutes each week with another volunteer to play games, do crafts, and just hang out.

No experience needed—just be a friend.

Why you’ll love it

Small commitment. Real impact.

Why your buddy needs you

Your time can become the best part of someone’s day.

Not every kid gets invited to birthday parties or has someone to hang out with after school. Loneliness is real. You can change that just by showing up and being a friend. Your 45 minutes might be the best part of their entire day.

Why this matters to us

Everyone deserves friendship, kindness, and a place to belong.

Every person has unique strengths and something valuable to share. When we show up for one another, the whole community grows stronger.
